About the Author
Branislav Gosovi, from erstwhile Yogoslavia, holds a PhD in political science from former University of California, Berkeley. As a UN career official, starting in 1971, he worked in UNCTAD, UNEP and ECLAC, and, from 1985, on secondment in the World Commission on Environment and Development, then the South Commission, and finally the South Centre, from 1991-2006.
